Thermalipo II radio frequency body sculpting, skin tightening and cellulite treatment offers an effective and comfortable means of achieving facial skin tightening and wrinkle reduction, and can be used on your body to firm areas of loose skin. Areas that we can treat include the: face, eyes, neck, chest, gluteal muscles, interfragluteal fold (under buttocks), buttocks, abdomens, thighs, love handles, knees, under arms and knees and skin folds on the back
This treatment achieves fantastic results as a treatment for cellulite. A course can eliminate unsightly 'orange peel' type celulite whilst improving skin quality and texture, leaving your skin brighter and younger. How RF skin tightening and cellulite termalipo works
Using a safe a effective bipolar arrangement Radio-frequency (RF) energy is applied to the skin, causing a gentle heating. For cellulite treatment the deepest layers of the skin are heated to a temperature of up to 42 degrees which increases the fat to liquefy, increases blood circulation , encourages drainage of fatty deposits into the lymphatic system and promotes the break down of fibrous tissue leading to a reduction in the volume of fat cells which are then carried from the body naturally.

How RF Thermalipo body sculpting, skin tightening and cellulite treatment carried out
A thin layer of lubricant is applied to the treated area and an applicator delivering RF energy is moved in circular motions in order to heat the skin.
Once the desired skin temperature is reached it is then maintained for several minutes in order to achieve the optimal treatment temperature to achieve skin tightening and cellulite treatment. Each session will typically last 45 minutes, depending on the treatment area.
What sort of skin tightening and cellulite reduction can I expect to see?
The treated area should be pink immediately after treatment. This subsides very quickly. The skin also appears firmer - but the appearance improves further over the coming days and will feel tight for a few weeks. Patients confirm that others notice an improvement in skin texture after their third or fourth RF skin treatment.
Facial skin tightening treatment progression
Skin tightening can usually be observed from the fourth to sixth treatment session onwards. The earliest visible effect is improved skin quality and increased skin tightening. The 4th session should see reduction in fine lines, reduction in pore size and improved cutaneous firmness of the skin.
Body sculpting treatment progression
Skin tightening and body sculpting results are usually observed from the fifth and sixth treatment sessions onwards. The earliest visible effect is reduction in skin firmness due to calcification liberation in the top skin layer. This indicates a positive effect and should be expected. Improved skin quality, tone and texture as well as increased skin tightening follows after (6-8 sessions). By the fifth to sixth sessions you may find a decrease in surface depressions and a smoother feeling skin to the touch. Overall improvement with body sculpting in skin areas treated are less evident. Cellulite reduction will start to become apparent. By the eighth session you should see improvement and reduction in cellulite, body silhouette, body circumference and volume reduction in the treated areas. Skin tightened and smoothing are the final steps.
The recommended frequency of body sculpting for skin tightening or cellulite reduction is every 10-14 days (This may vary according to medical criteria). Therefore to see results after 8 sessions would take 5 to 6 weeks only.
Northwest laser treatment body sculpting recommendations
We recommend combination body sculpting treatment with other therapeutic drainage techniques, such as vibratory platform or presso therapy. This will often improves treatment results further. We recommend these immediately after skin tighteining. After treatment tissue can be very sensitive and delicate due to the rise in temperature. Please be aware that when combining treatments with low frequency ultrasound or endermology treatments should take place before application of the Thermalipo II.
Possible side effects of body sculpting treatment
Thousands of body sculpting treatment sessions have been performed with Thermalipo II without ever resulting in any negative long term health effects. Safety, very low learning curve and simplicity are among the main advantages of Thermalipo technology.
Errythema:
This is a desired effect of body skin tightening and suggest a reddening of the skin. It indicates that the skin has reached the optimal treatment temperature. Erythema is local; it is only observed in places where RF skin treatment has been applied. This effect usually lasts for only a few minutes.
Burns:
This is the only possible adverse effect. Skin burns are infrequent and generally occur due to inappropriate application of the hand-piece, by utilising insufficient
amounts of cooling gel, when leaving the applicator stationary on the skin or when the gel has
inappropriate conductive characteristics. Burns are small in appearance and are are usually very rare. If a skin burn does occur, it should be treated as any heat burn.
How frequently should I have body sculpting treatment, and how many sessions will I need?
One session every 7-14 days is recommended, but patients on a budget have still seen improvement on treatment 3-4 weeks apart. This may vary according to medical criteria. Usually 6-8 sessions are needed for face or neck skin tightening treatment and 8-12 sessions for body, legs and arm treatments. The exact number of sessions may vary according to medical criteria.
For face and neck skin treatment approximately 45 minutes for the body. Legs and arms approximately 30mins - 1 hour 30 minutes. Smaller body areas, such as arms or abdomen are usually treated in 20-35 minutes. Larger body areas, such as excess fat around the hips and buttocks or inner thighs may take up to 60 minutes per session treatment duration.
